“I found I could say things with colors that I couldn’t say in any other way - Things that I had no words for.” Georgia O’Keefe.

I have been fascinated by glass and its various properties for as long as I can remember. The ability of one element to clarify and distort vision at the same time is remarkable. My appreciation of glass has taken me along a path of working in both blown and fused glass to explore the functional and ornamental into one object.

Living in both Europe and Asia enabled me to appreciate how various cultures incorporate glass into daily life from the magnificent windows of the Chartres Catheral in Paris to humble glass net floats in Japan. Glass has been used for adornment in jewlery as well as for every day drinking glasses.

Living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the amazing sunsets here inspire me to incorporate both wild and subtle colors into my creations. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
